As a company, we prefer having direct contact with the spouses-to-be, and we make it our priority to establish a strong relationship with our clients from the beginning; this is essential to delivering a product that captures the essence of their love story, we want to understand their vision and preferences to create a personalized film that reflects their unique style and personality. While we value the role of the wedding planners in the process, we feel that direct communication with the couple allows us to better serve their needs and exceed their expectations, we welcome the wedding planner's input and assistance but our priority is always the couple's satisfaction.
After we’ve established the first contact, we’ll reply requesting some important information from the get-go such as dates, venue, and city, as your wedding may take place in a different country or state than we’re in (this doesn’t mean we won’t be able to provide our services though, we offer our cinematography services worldwide!), all of this so that we can let you know about our availability.
Once we’ve established the first contact, we can send you our availability and portfolio. We will even schedule a Zoom meeting to give you a small presentation with everything you need to know to get to know our company; our film style, our experience, the packages we offer, and lastly, answer any pending questions.
Choosing the right package can be a little overwhelming… Especially when the happy couple is busy planning all details for their special day; that's why we make it our mission to determine the products and upgrades that best suit your needs based on their vision and budget, we take the time to analyze everything the couple tells us and through our knowledge and expertise in wedding filmography we instruct the packages that will provide the best value and experience.
Our packages are tailored to adapt to your specific needs and taste, ensuring that you’ll receive the highest quality product and service possible. We guarantee to tell you straight-forward what we believe to be the best for you, this needs to be a situation that leaves the spouses satisfied.
Something we'll mention from our first Zoom meeting is that travel expenses are not included in our services, together we'll plan out the logistics of our transportation and stay during the time of the wedding. To ensure that we are well-prepared for the event, we always make sure to travel one or two days in advance to avoid any delay or complication, whether on the road or by air. One of our requirements is that our team stays at the same resort or hotel where the wedding will take place, by doing so, we can easily transport our equipment during the days of the event and ensure that we are always in close proximity to the couple and the wedding party.
We also require that the stay includes meals and lodging with everything that is needed in terms of logistics so that we can fully focus on capturing every special moment of the couple's big day.
Because of the high demand for our services, we encourage our customers to make the decisions as soon as possible, especially if your wedding is going to take place in popular months, so, once you’ve decided to let us join your special day, we’ll encourage you to sign the contract and make the first deposit to freeze your date in our schedule.
The months leading up to the big day
When it comes to filming a wedding, it’s not about showing up on the day of the event and shooting the footage. We like to build relationships with the soon-to-be-married couple and with the wedding planner, we know that some of our clients come to us by recommendation of the planner, so this is an important step for us. We understand the importance of building relationships in the months leading up to the big day!
Staying in touch during this time allows us to gain a deeper grasp of the couple's vision for their wedding day and discuss any logistical concerns. It also ensures that the filmography team is fully prepared for the wedding day, with all the necessary equipment and a clear understanding of the timeline and schedule.
This process can also involve everything from scouting the location of the wedding and reception, to discussing the key moments that the couple wants to be sure are captured on film

It’s wedding day!
The day of the wedding is dedicated to capturing every special moment! From the colorful pre-wedding ceremonies to the joyous post-wedding celebrations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime ceremony, and we take our role in preserving your memories very seriously, our team of experienced videographers will work around your guests and wedding party carefully to capture every raw emotion and detail.
How do we work on the day of the wedding?
We meticulously plan and prepare for the day. And as we mentioned before, the importance of communication before the wedding is of big importance so that we have a full understanding of the day’s schedule and minimize any disruptions, also to make sure that we’ve understood the unique vision of the happy couple for their special day.
On the day of the wedding itself, the filmography team will arrive as early as we’re allowed to start filming the pre-wedding rituals and ceremonies, this might include the mehndi ceremony, where the bride's hands and feet are decorated with henna, or the sangeet, a lively musical celebration that takes place the night before the wedding.
Throughout the day, the team will be constantly on the move, capturing candid moments between the couple, their families, and their guests.
One of the biggest challenges of filming a Hindu wedding is the sheer size and complexity of the event, from the elaborate decorations to the intricate clothing, there are countless details to capture on film.
But don’t fret, Ruiz FIlms is up to the task! Using multiple high-end cameras and a skilled team of filmmakers to ensure that no moment goes unnoticed!
Our goal is not only to create a wedding film that reflects the unique story of your love and the joy of your celebration but also to make you the star of your own Bollywood film!
What’s next?
A wedding is a day that all couples cherish and will want to relieve for years to come. This is where Ruiz Films comes into play, putting in the time to capture every moment of the wedding on camera and creating a beautiful film that captures the essence of the special day/s.
After the wedding, the hard work continues.
Within two weeks after the wedding, we will send you a confirmation email that summarizes your package information and everything we did during the wedding, at this moment you can also request an upgrade in your package if you'd like. Additionally, we'll ask for a playlist of 20 songs you'd like to include in your documentary film which will last from 30 to 180 minutes, depending on the package you choose.
Once all of this has been confirmed by the married couple then the post-production time begins, this is where we take all the footage back to our studio, and our team of editors and cinematographers work to create your perfect wedding film.
Carefully, we go through every shot, looking for the best angles and the most meaningful moments to include in the final edit. Depending on the products you picked, there will be different cuts for each of your films.
The aim is to create a cinematic experience that transports the viewers back to the wedding day, making them feel like they are right there in the moment. One of the key aspects of our process is to ensure that the final product is tailored to the preferences of the couple. This could be anything from a traditional documentary-style film to a Bollywood-inspired music video.
It takes from 4 to 6 months to deliver the final products, this guarantees everyone that the story of your day is perfectly told through a high-quality cinematography film.
Each couple is unique and so are their preferences, whether you want a Full HD or a 4K resolution, we ensure that the final product is of prime quality.
